sucka free city

JoJoJoJo and I are going to be in SF for a couple of days... does anyone have any sandwiches that they feel we are missing out on? I know there are a couple new shops in the Mission I have yet to try!

    la tienda tortas (the shop next to metate on 22nd and bryant). also comes with fantastic tortilla soup for about 5 bucks.

    La Tienda sounds great! I've eaten at El Matate a bunch but never at La Tienda. And I used to eat at Sweet Chinitos frequently, but I have not in a while.

    You should check out Thorough Bread, a bakery on Church at Market. They might be closed Mondays though. The bread is baked there and is really amazing - I am a frequent consumer of the ham & swiss and the tuna melt.

    Slow Club has recently had a "fried Chicken" sando that's really tastey...for sure.
    Also for a torta...the Classic carne asada from Faralito is lovely.
